2022: Our winners

Every dish served at Wilmington’s Epicurean Evening was amazing, and we thank all of the chefs who created a gourmet experience for 400 guests. Congratulations to our winners:

Pine Valley Market and chef Christi Ferretti, with Christyanna Durand, won Copper Kettle Best in Show, Roger Busteed People’s Choice, and Gold for Entree and Appetizer. Their entree was Grits Greens + Shorties: stone ground cheese grits, local organic creamed greens with horseradish, certified angus short ribs, and crispy sumac sprinkles. Their appetizer was Tuna Bomb with avo-abi crema, kimchi dressing, scallion, and sesame seed sweet soy.

LongHorn Steakhouse and manager Sarah Brennan won Dessert Gold with Chocolate Thunder – a six-layer chocolate cake.

Wrightsville Beach Brewery won Beverage Gold with Kolsch Krush – a Cobia Kolsch infused with orange and vanilla.
