Specialized Services – FACT

Our specialized services, known as FACT, help young people who are dually diagnosed with mental illness/severe emotional disorders and underlying developmental disabilities such as autism or intellectual disabilities. Services at our day treatment and group homes include individual and group psychotherapy, psycho-educational groups, recreational therapy or family therapy.

Day Treatment

The day treatment program serves boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, who live in the Jacksonville area, either at home or in a foster or group home setting, with the goal of helping them manage their behaviors so that they can return to a public school setting. An on-site school provides age-appropriate curricula.

Group Homes

Two Level III mental health group homes serve boys and girls, ages 8 to 18, who need out-of-home care but don’t meet criteria for inpatient psychiatric services. We provide a highly structured program where youth learn to live as productively and independently as possible through round-the-clock care and intensive therapies. Their stay is six to nine months, and culminates in a gradual return to their home community with local support services in place.

Outpatient Therapy

Our licensed clinical mental health counselor is a certified trauma professional, providing therapy to children (ages 8 to 18) and adults with Medicaid health insurance. We offer a compassionate and positive environment to help clients make empowering decisions about their lives and use their strengths to overcome struggles.
