Parent Academy: What Parents Can Do to Support Academic Growth Over the Summer Break

As children say goodbye to the classroom for a few months, they are often also saying goodbye to some of what they learned during the school year. This workshop will provide you with educational ideas and information about what to do during the summer break to combat summer learning loss. Parent Academy workshops are offered by the Wake County Public School System to help families learn to engage with the school system and positively contribute to their child’s academic and social success.
