Family Reunification
Parents who lose their children to foster care haven’t stop loving them – most times, they are overwhelmed. By addiction. By untreated illness. By job loss. By the struggle of keeping a roof overhead when everything else falls apart.
We believe children do best with their families. They deserve a real chance to find their way back to each other, and we walk that road with them.
Our interventions are intense, with short timelines – 6 to 20 weeks, up to 5 hours per week. In that time, we meet families where they are – traveling to their homes and tailoring the reunification approach to each situation with:
- individual, group, and family counseling
- mental health services
- assistance addressing domestic violence
- assistance to secure temporary child care and therapeutic services
- transportation to services and activities
The goal is a stronger family, equipped with skills and resources to reunify safely – and stay together.
