Specialized Services – FACT
Some young people are navigating two serious challenges at once – a mental health diagnosis and a developmental disability like autism or an intellectual disability. Our FACT program was built for them. Through our day treatment and group home settings, we offer therapy, psycho-educational groups, and real human connection, because every young person deserves support that truly fits who they are.
Day Treatment
For boys and girls ages 8 to 18 living in the Jacksonville area – whether at home, in foster care, or in a group home – our day treatment program offers a steady, supportive place to learn how to manage difficult emotions and behaviors. With an on-site school providing age-appropriate curricula, the goal is always the same: to help each young person feel ready and confident enough to return to a public school setting.
Group Homes
Our two Level III mental health group homes serve boys and girls ages 8 to 18 who need more than outpatient support, but don’t require inpatient psychiatric care. In a structured, nurturing environment with round-the-clock care and intensive therapy, young people build the skills to live more independently. Most stays last 6 to 9 months, ending with a thoughtful, gradual transition back to their home community – with local support already in place so they don’t face it alone.
Outpatient Therapy
Our licensed clinical mental health counselor – also a certified trauma professional – provides individual therapy to children and adults ages 8 and up who carry Medicaid insurance. We offer a space where clients are met with compassion and supported in making choices that move their lives forward.
