Methodist Home for Children, headquartered in Raleigh, is a 501(c)(3) that works to ensure safe, nurturing homes for children while working to eradicate the social and family problems that lead to abuse, neglect, family disruption and abandonment.
Founded in 1899 as a traditional, campus-based orphanage, we now provide community-based services for children and families throughout North Carolina. We partner with public agencies to serve children in crisis and we raise private funds to ensure that we can deliver the best in evidence-based services. We have a lifelong commitment to anyone who has come through our residential programs, and we operate with emphasis on six agency values:
